For example, if you post media to a public family tree the tree owner, will see your profile picture and if you are registered as an adult (Over 16yrs) they will see your geo-tagged location according to Zip Code / Post code (but not exact address). We do not forward personal details from any tree owner to any other tree owner except as stated above. We may from time to time allow inter tree messaging or data matching, but this will be done with discretion and the user will have the ability to message internally without submitting email or other contact details.
We use the information you provide about yourself - when subscribing or placing an order - only to complete that subscription or order. As a subscriber we may from time to time contact you with updates or security messages or renewal notifications. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order or subscription.
We may offer gift-cards or special offers by which you can personalize a product you order for another person. Information you provide to us to create a gift-card or special offer is only used for that purpose and it is only disclosed to the person receiving the gift or special offer.

We do not Geo-tag anyone who registers with us as being under 16 to their registered location or address. They will automatically be geo-tagged to a random location in the capital of the country which they subscribe from.

You can also edit your personal information with the “Edit Profile” button in the “My Profile” window of the website once you are logged on. Save the new information and that will automatically update the profile information that we hold on you. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information and to accommodate changes of name and location or address as well as age.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to any aspect of your subscription. Users will be sent validation e-mails periodically to activate or revalidate their user accounts. We do reserve the right to view your content if we suspect misuse of the site for libellous, pornographic or racist material and reserve the right to quarantine an account or disable it if it is found to breach existing laws or common standards of decency or any of our published terms & conditions.
